Both Yakima and Wenatchee are situated at the eastern edge of the cascade mountains with easy access to hiking, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking and skiing. Most of the world’s hops are grown in Yakima, and both regions grow high quality wine grapes, apples, and other fruit. This has led to a thriving microbrewery, winery and cider culture. Yakima and Wenatchee combine the affordability of a small town with easy accessibility to Seattle, 2-3 hours away by car.
The staff attorney will undertake a range of duties including, but not limited to:
Provide legal assistance to survivors of labor trafficking. This includes advocating on issues related to immigration status, and a broad range of civil legal claims that arise in the workplace.
