Job Description: Education-law specialty practice looking to hire 1-2 associate attorneys.

We are looking for an attorney to advocate for students and families in educational arenas from kindergarten to post-graduate higher education

Applicants must be able to:

· Identify and apply all relevant education-law provisions to a case

· Fairly evaluate the merits and value of a claim

· Promote early and just resolution of disputes

Applicants must have a Washington state bar license and a demonstrated history of interest in:

· Advocating for civil rights for students,

· Strong and positive working relationships with peers, and

· Protecting and improving educational outcomes for students of all backgrounds without damaging the future relationship between students and their schools.

Additional qualifications of interest: Licensed in Oregon; experience with trust & estate work or guardianships; experience with employment & labor law.
