Job Description: Northwest Justice Project’s Assistant Managing Attorneys play a critical role in the statewide units and local office/regional delivery of civil legal assistance to low-income communities across Washington State. The Assistant Managing Attorney is responsible for tasks delegated by the Managing Attorney to support the overall management of regional offices or specialized units within Northwest Justice Project’s (NJP) statewide law firm to carry out the program’s

vision, mission and strategic goals.

The Assistant Managing Attorney reports to the Managing Attorney of their assigned office or unit. The Assistant Managing Attorney represents the office/unit in the absence of the Managing Attorney as part of the larger NJP leadership team.

The Assistant Managing Attorney provides direct supervision and management of office/unit legal and support staff as delegated by the Managing Attorney of the assigned office/unit.

Specific salary will be based upon relevant experience, beginning at $83,142 – $143,712 annually. NJP offers compensation for those who are regularly asked to use a language other than English in their work.
