Membership

LBAW is led by enthusiastic and energetic attorneys who are committed to advancing the legal rights of Latinos throughout the State, and we would love to have you join us in that effort.

LBAW would never have existed without the contributions of its members.  LBAW continues to flourish because of the commitment of our membership.  LBAW will continue to grow because of the interest and vision of its new members.

Benefits of membership include:

  • Having a voice in the selection of judicial candidates.
  • Contributing to LBAW’s strong voice on behalf of Latinos both in Washington State and nationally.
  • Electing and serving on the LBAW Board of Directors.

LBAW’s membership refund Policy

The Latina/o Bar Association of Washington (LBAW) reserves the right to refuse or cancel a membership in the LBAW at any time and for any reason.

If LBAW refuses a new or renewing membership, the applicant will be offered a refund for the remainder of their membership dues at the time of termination, calculated on a monthly pro rata basis.

If a member cancels his/her membership for any reason within 30 days of joining or renewing, they will be eligible to receive a full refund of their membership fee, minus a $25 service fee.

Cancellation will be accepted by fax, email, or in writing, and must be time stamped or post marked by the stated cancellation deadline.

All refund requests must be made by the member or the credit card holder, and must include the member’s name and credit card number (if applicable). 

Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

The above policies apply to all LBAW membership unless otherwise noted.
